The color rendering index (CRI) is a measure of how well the light source can reproduce the true colors of an object when compared to natural lighting at the CRI 95+ bulbs used in the Amaran Halo H100 excel at this so as you get a greater natural color depth and tone.
Running of 4AA batteries (Not included) this halo light has a sync speed of 1/200s and achieves up to 1020 LUX of illumination at 50cm or 305 LUX at 1 meter

The bright uniform light can easily be adjusted by the step-less brightness control that allows you to adjust the brightness at different distances to achieve the same exposure. There are also left and right flash modes to bring greater control of the lighting effects and this can be used in flash or constant lighting modes.
