This smart phone connected thermometer can measure body, ambient and surface temperatures without having to come into contact with the target. Simply line up the thermometer and hold it within 5 cm of the target then tap the function desired on the IRTermo app, which can display readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

When used for measuring body temperatures this mini thermometer has an accuracy of 0.3 degrees Celsius and a range from 32 to 43 degrees, this is increased to 0 to 100 degrees when used in the ambient and object measuring modes with an accuracy of 1 degree C.
