Requirements:
Qualifications:
Although a degree or diploma is not required for this position as we value knowledge and experience, a degree or diploma in networking and/or systems will establish basic knowledge. We do however require extensive hands on experience above all else, please see the next section for detail on this.
Sysadmin experience:
Proven scripting ability in tooling and automation beyond simple bash
Experience with configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
Minimum of 7 years of IP networking
Minimum of 7 years of Linux experience
We expect you to have a deep understanding of Linux, with exposure to various distributions
Minimum of 2 years of high availability experience
Experience with Docker containers a bonus
Minimum of 2 years of MySQL database administration will be a bonus
Amazon Web Services or similar experience will be a bonus
Additional skills and attributes:
Great communication, verbal and written
Team player
Likes solving problems and building solutions
Thirst for knowledge and learning
Takes personal responsibility

As a member of our Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for contributing to the architecture, design, automation, deployment, monitoring, and senior-level support of our solutions and services.
Salary will be based on qualifications and experience, but the expectation is for the yearly cost to company between R480,000 and R720,000 per year(40K to 60K per month). We will still be interested if your skill level exceeds this price bracket and we are ready to be impressed.
