Caucasus International University (CIU) was founded in 1995, initially established as a medical institute named "Clinisist." After experiencing various challenges and successes, this for-profit private university obtained institutional accreditation and a license in 2005. Over time, CIU expanded its infrastructure, including the addition of a new building designed to meet modern standards. The university also incorporated facilities such as auditoriums, a library, a student café, a gymnasium, and a courtyard to align with European standards.
